It’s not often an architect has the opportunity to design two homes for the same clients…twenty years apart. Our clients for this home made the decision to downsize from a 5,000 sq. ft. home on 20 acres to a 2,350 sq. ft. home on a 70’ x 100’ lot. The primary challenges here…make a compact space live large and also provide opportunities for the display of a substantial contemporary art collection.
